The Northeastern University Libraries have created a series of information literacy tutorials and handouts that can be downloaded, printed, or embedded in your online classroom.

The tutorials, which cover common questions and pain points for students in the research process, are mapped to the six frames within the Framework for Information Literacy, created by the Association of College and Research Libraries. They are also available by discipline and by topic.

The Tutorials

The information literacy tutorials are available as videos, slides, and handouts and address multidisciplinary research skills and concepts.

The Framework

The Framework for Information Literacy is based on six interconnected core concepts, or frames, related to information, the research process, and scholarship.

Teaching & Learning Support

In addition to the information literacy tutorials, the Northeastern University Libraries also offer a full range of teaching and learning support services, including class visits, workshops, and individual consultations.
